Basel, Switzerland

Our first glimpse of Basel when we got off the tram, was the brightly coloured Rathaus (Town Hall). What an amazing building! You couldn’t really miss it as it’s painted bright red. You can walk inside the courtyard too which was stunning.
There’s a lot of art around Basel and yesterday it included an out door modern art exhibition. I’m not really into looking at 2 planks of wood sat on a cobbled driveway and listening to someone say how wonderful it is. It reminds me of the Emperors new clothes lol. Give me street art any day
We had a nice time even though the weather wasn’t great. We took the tram back from Switzerland to Germany and then walked over the 3 countries bridge to our campsite in France.
